About MarkPro™ survey paint

MarkPro™ Survey Paint is a lead-free, resin-based aerosol for temporary marking — bright when you need it, gone once the job moves on. Each 750 ml can covers roughly 100 metres of line, is touch dry in around 25 minutes, and is available in all seven colours. Coverage and cure figures are indicative and being confirmed against production stock.

Where it's used

Survey paint is made for marks that shouldn't last: setting-out and levels, utility spot-marking before a dig, site surveys, temporary traffic layouts, landscaping and inspection or defect marking. It weathers and fades away rather than staying put. For lines that need to survive traffic and time — car parks, roads, warehouse floors — use MarkPro™ Line Marker Paint instead.

Choosing a colour

All seven colours are available. On utility work most sites mirror the colour of the buried service — yellow for gas, blue for water, red or black for electricity, green for telecoms. These are trade conventions rather than a single legal standard, so always follow the scheme your client or site specifies.

How to apply it

Shake the can for two minutes, hold it inverted 50–75 mm from the surface, and let your walking speed control how heavy the line lands. Mask where you need real accuracy. After use, turn the can upright and spray briefly to clear the nozzle. It also clips into a trolley or handheld applicator for long straight runs.
